OUR PARISH LEADERS + STAFF

It takes many people working as the hands and feet of Jesus to make St. Elizabeth's sail!  Here are some of the faces you're likely to meet when you visit!

CLERGY + MISSION LEADERSHIP

The Rev. Katie Nakamura Rengers
PRIEST-IN-CHARGE
Mother Katie and her family joined us in June, 2026.  Ordained to the priesthood in 2011, she has served the Episcopal Church as a parish priest, church planter, teacher and member of the Presiding Bishop’s staff. Before coming to Hawai‘i, Katie founded The Abbey, an Episcopal church and community coffee shop in Birmingham, Alabama. She later served as the Episcopal Church’s Staff Officer for Church Planting and continues to teach courses on developing new Christian communities.
Katie is passionate about building communities where worship, hospitality and service belong to one shared life.
