St. Elizabeth’s Children’s Outreach Center: Music Academy and Reading Program
Wednesday afternoons at St. Elizabeth’s Outreach Center are happy days for neighborhood children. From locked apartments and television watching, children come with their brothers and sisters. It is hard to tell what the children love most—being read to--our Music Academy--or learning to be a reader/storyteller themselves. From tots to Princess Kaiulani and Like Like students, the children are well behaved and delighted to be at St. Elizabeth’s.
No child goes home hungry thanks to generous donations of snacks and juice.
We were thrilled recently when many of our outreach kids began coming to Sunday School and church…on their own!
