It was Mother Jodene's dream to learn about the land and the peoples of St. Elizabeth's Church ancestors who came to Hawaii with the dream of Sandalwood Mountain. From the ancient lands of China and in the ancient Polynesian canoes upon the sea came St. Elizabeth's ancestors. In China, the Great Wall, the Silk Road, the Forbidden City, "The River at the Center of the World (The Great Yangtze) and most especially all the peoples along the way, helped her to realize this dream as she traveled to mainland China in June 2008.
